We are still meeting at 9 am on the first Thursday of the month at Tina’s Log Cabin in Elderton.
They now have free WiFi, so bring your tech toys, especially if you have pictures of grandchildren to share.
No RSVP, just show up. You can have a full breakfast or just a snack or cup of coffee.
Our Facebook Group seems to have vanished but we still have many classmates active there.

The obituary at the Welch Funeral Home has a good photo of him, but it is some kind of Flash overlay and I couldn’t figure out how to get a direct link.
We met yesterday at Schall’s in Elderton. Some people came who weren’t able to come in November.
We are hoping to make this a monthly event, so reserve Thursday January 7, 2010 but check for details closer to that date.
Even if you are unable to attend these, please pass on the word to other classmates.
Ten classmates met yesterday at Schall’s Restaurant (under new management) in Elderton. There are two photos in the gallery in the 2009 album. There is a group photograph on Facebook which is accessible if you have “friended” Kathy Graff.
Linda wisely suggested that we set the next date while so many of us were together. It will be at 9 am on Thursday December 5 at the same location. Male classmates are welcome too as well as family members.
We had a great time, hope you can make the next one.
Many of us remember his biology class in 10th grade. For others there are probably memories of Driver Education class. He was quite active in the community, my parents considered him a friend.
The past couple years he had health problems, but was still sharp as a tack and had the same sense of humor that we knew from back in the 1960s.
His interests were diverse, Mike Slease reported he participated in the March on Kittanning reenactment in 2000.
He died on February 22, 2009, age 86.

Suzanne (Peters) Duriancik sent the news that our classmate Sonny passed away on January 24, 2009.
Sonny was unable to attend the 40th class reunion, but was in contact with several classmates by mail. We passed around a card to sign for her at the reunion.
Dave Brown, who attended the reunion with Pat is active in HERO. Read about it in the Leader Times:
